How to Make Money Using HubPages?

Everything big always begins with an idea. This is even more so if you are working out ways for making money with HubPages. You need a great idea, a couple of really impressive articles and a great amount of traffic you can control to begin reaping the benefits of using HubPages.

Okay, back up. I am going to show you how I was able to harness the power of HubPages, but before I begin, let me run you through the basics. If you are going to start raking in the big bucks, you need to know how to employ these three keys:

  • Content
  • Articles
  • Traffic

CONTENT

The idea of content is pretty broad and generic, but believe me, it is the most important thing you need to learn how to generate if you are going to start earning thousands of dollars on HubPages.

The reason people visit HubPages is because they are going to look for interesting content. By interesting, I mean relevant content, content that they need and content that relates to them. It will not be worth to write an article on the 1000 benefits of chewing gum if there is no one who is interested in reading that kind of thing. If you are going to write content on demand, you need to keep your eyes on Google Trend. Let Google Trend show you which topics and niches are hot and write accordingly. With Google Trends, you can check out the activity of specific keywords and find out how many people are searching for content using the keywords.

Now, step two. When looking at possible niches, pick those that have high interest and fit your own experience and knowledge. Saturated markets would only bring you little cash, as everyone gets a share of the traffic, and what little is left of it. Look at your hobbies and interests. How do you spend your time? Is there something you would like to share with others that you think would be helpful? Everyone is unique, and that means you have something to say in a way no one else would.

ARTICLES

What kinds of articles should you write?

The right kind of articles you must create for HubPages must be information-rich and full of the right keywords.

Once you pick your niche, your articles should be well written, with no blatant errors. Review English lessons on spelling, grammar, and punctuation, if necessary. Use the spell check in your word processing program. Unlike some other sites, HubPages allows you to cut and paste into text capsules when writing your hub article.

Crediting your sources when you do research is important, too. This shows that you have taken the time to understand your subject and leaves a good impression on the reader. You want to create good impressions because this is what brings readers back.

Remember this golden rule: Write what you know in the best way you know how, and write passionately about it!

TRAFFIC

A lot of people fail here. I think the reason people fail at generating traffic is because in their mind, traffic is a big deal and no mortal should be able to figure it out so well.

You see here, the thing is: you can have amazing articles that are relevant to people, but without sufficient traffic, you won’t be able to generate enough Adsense revenue to save your life. The basic idea is that if you are to get a good reader base, your articles should be fresh, unique, engaging and rich in sweet information for people. However, I know this one thing for sure: you can get even greater traffic by sprinkling your articles with bonuses and offers or even by a tactical approach to things in your articles.

Here is a disclaimer you shouldn’t take for granted: if you are going to use the route of attractive headers and lavish descriptions, be careful that you do not deceive or mislead the readers. If you do this, you would just be shooting your online reputation in the foot and could make a lot of people never read anything written by you ever again in the future.

So what are you waiting for? Start your own HubPages Today and Start earning, STAT!

If you are still unsure of what HubPages is and how it works, here is a little explanation. HubPages is one of the leading article sites, where writers are able to write about stuff and push or promote their products on sites like eBay. The brilliance here is that you make double income: one from selling the products on eBay through the promotion you do on HubPages, and the second is from the Adsense revenue you get from HubPages itself. Making money using HubPages is not difficult in principle, but you are going to need to learn how to compete with others who are trying to suppress you so they can earn more.

The number of ways to earn money from HubPages can be said to be almost infinite. It is really up to you. You can use HubPages to promote yourself. Alternatively, you can use it to promote your products. Further down the lane, you can just resort to promoting other people’s products and getting your commission out of it using ClickBank. As I said, it is your choice, really.

Another great trick for getting the most juice out of your HubPages account is to get as many links to it as possible. Some people do fine without links though, so you shouldn’t pressure yourself too much about it. If you are interested in linking your Hubs, you can link your blogs to your hubs. Some people have had amazing results from just submitting their Hubs to social bookmarking websites. I believe it is always an amazing idea to link your Hubs to each other. It works wonders.

Begin today, and apply the tips above, and you should start earning as much as you’ve always dreamed of from using HubPages.
